The French use the term menuiser to describe all these crafts. I feel that this term fits what I do on several levels. Though I do not consider myself French in the true sense of the word. I am Franco Ontarian. But that is another story. I use wood as my primary material to build the furniture that I design.This blog is about my process.

Scrap wood stool idea
Here is the first try I like the red strap. Wood comes from old fir baseboard. I think I want to make it tapered
